Does the Twin get a Doppelgaenger?
Strange Windows, two channel video installation, 5-minute loop, 2011 Duplicitous is the difference between two of the same thing and one thing twice.
Polaroid Feedback, unnumbered edition of 3 + 1AP, 2009 Unlike traditional video, or double-mirror feedback, this Polaroid doesn't reference the infinite extendibility of a single moment, but rather it reverse engineers the collapsibility of many moments into one.
Nude Descending the Stairs, sound installtion, dimensions variable A duplicitous sound event curls your toes. Is there a difference between one foot twice and two feet once? Do twins get to have Doppelgängers?
Chandelier (for Adolph Loos), 2007 Two Mirrors and three Mirror Balls.
This image is a four-frame photo-film that was made in a photobooth. The photo features a story, whose narrative interest hinges on the authority that photobooths necessarily have over time. In the final frame, the time traveler can be seen holding the photo strip that he's gone to the future to retrieve from the very machine in which he's sitting. Insofar that a series of eight of these were made, this image may be best thought of in terms of performance.
