Magnetic Yellow Card,
cyclists's interventon, 2004 -text from the card Subversive intervention via businesscard-sized magnets, personal edition of 200. Here is a pdf of the Magnetic Yellow Card. This project is open source, which means that I am supplying everyone with the means to make their own magnets. Feel free to upload this pdf to any magnet-maker of your choice and self-produce as many magnets as you would like. I chose this company to make my magnets, but I do not endorse them for any particular reason. You can use any company that you choose to reproduce as many magnets as you would like to.
Peter Hopkins Miller is an
artist and filmmaker living and making work in Vienna/Chicago. He took
his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2005 and his
BA from Hampshire College in 2000. He is originally from Vermont, apprenticed
to be a silversmith and creates designed objects for Mulciber,
LLC. He's had shows and fellowships
and reviews. His film and photographic work
is preoccupied with magic and generally investigates the phenomena of
the cinema and its constituent, irreducible elements: lens, light, flicker,
audience, projection, etc.
